Farnsworth House Drawings

For Project 2, we explored manual projected methods in architectural drawing emphasizing architectural conventions, symbols, and line quality by making many drawings on the Farnsworth House. Of the Farnsworth House, we created 3 orthographics drawings, 2 perspective drawings, & 1 axonometric drawing.

Reflection

This was my very first time attempting to do proper architectural drawings. I was definitely lost at first, but after constantly consulting with my tutor Mr. Zahari, as well as watching many tutorials on Youtube, i got the hang of it. I had no idea how much i enjoyed doing proper drawings, spending hours ensuring every detail is correct and the appropriate line thickness is being used. I learned so much from this project that i will remember for the rest of my journey in architecture.
